Description of course: A seminar/discussion course based on current literature. The theme (signaling pathway) covered by the course changes for each offering. The introduction of a topic by the instructor is followed by literature discussions led by students. Past examples of course themes include MAPK signaling in yeast, Drosophila and vertebrates, and two-component regulatory systems in prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
